Murphy Philipps authored the Department of Health guidance on Primary and Community Care Facilities (Health Building Note 11-01). As a result, we are very familiar with new thinking and current policies regarding healthcare provision and are able to provide accommodation that fully supports these principles. A key part of this is to maximise the future flexibility and adaptability of buildings.

Our other guidance work in progress includes several supplements to Health Building Note 12 which covers various outpatient services, including ENT, audiology and ophthalmology. Murphy Philipps was also commissioned by Health Estates in Northern Ireland to produce design guidance for primary care centres.
