All buildings should be provide a responsible and responsive contribution to the local community. Part of this is to reflect the highest levels of sustainability, both during the construction phase and during ongoing operation. All of our projects seek to harness the natural environment to reduce energy consumption and minimise carbon emissions. We are familiar with a wide range of assessment criteria and all of our public sector schemes are on track for achieving ‘excellent’ ratings in BREEAM (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Methodology) assessments.

Murphy Philipps acknowledges the impact which the construction process can have on the environment and how the careful selection of materials and discussions with users regarding building management can help to provide a more sustainable end product.
